He can't complain anymore! Could be cool to do a run with this. Makes late game geo actually worth something too. There are details on how each stat work in the readme file which would be boring to post on a reddit format, but basically most stats work as you would expect in a arpg diminishing returns etc.
The only two stats that don't at least not right now are resilience and wisdom. Also, the base stats, pickups etc. Get the feeling it would make the game horribly unbalanced and easy - owing to the fact it was designed around you having a very limited increase in different stats. I don't entirely disagree with you, but that's not the point of the mod, hollow knight bonfire mod download. The game is entirely fun and fair on it's own, and that's actually great.
What this mod does, however, is present you with a new way to experience the game. Just like Lightbringer lets you experience "what would it be like if the Knight had ranged attacks instead of a slash", and just like Blackmoth lets you experience "what would it be like if the Knight's main weapon was it's dash", this mod lets you experience "what would it be like if the Knight could level up Dark Souls style". Since nail damage is now very variable, but nothing seems to point towards spells, will there be a way to make your spells do more damage?

Wisdom, at first, decided how much soul you could hold, but after a few tests and discussion we decided to scrap that in favour of its current behaviour, mostly because for the most part, it's not how much soul you can hold that's the problem, but not being able to recover it easily. Sadly, as things are right now, we have little control over those variables, and dealing with them would be troublesome. Doesn't mean we won't try, just that it will take some time! Is it a small addon that in the end gives you a little damage boost, or is it a complete overhaul of the system?
